Tower Defense, The Beginning

My previous post was, well, me asking what game i should develop in flash next. Your answer? Most of you voted Tower Defense.

That said, here's the very start of my game production. No game name, idea, or anything in place yet..just a blank canvas. Let's see where this goes!

Decide which kind of game i develop next

It's been a while since i've opened flash, so i need to get back to it (and eventually move up to AS3). That being said, i'm at a loss for what kind of game i should develop...so i am going to ask the viewers of my blog to decide for me.

Please keep in mind that i am not asking for ideas for the game, only that you comment with what genre i should develop. I will tally the votes when i think that the comments have slowed down, and i will develop that particular kind of game in flash.

Here are your options:

1. Tower Defense Game

2. Dual "joystick" Shooter

3. Horizontal/Vertical shooter (think Galaga)

4. Platformer/Action

I will be documenting the progress of the game as i develop it via this blog, so keep your eyes peeled!

What's Your Rig?

Lately i've been playing Crysis 2, and while it runs on my computer(on the lowest setting), it could run better. But it's partially my fault, as i haven't had the cash to upgrade it to a reasonable point for modern games.
